Melissa ~ dress shopping at David's Bridal ~ {Duluth, Georgia Event Photographer}

I was so excited when I learned that the very first couple I photographed had gotten engaged last October.

Melissa & Michael will be getting married this year in June and I'm so excited for the two of them.   I tagged along a couple of weeks ago for dress shopping with the bride to be.  I really felt like I was part of the TLC show "Say Yes to the Dress."   It was a lot of fun!

I'm not going to show the dress Melissa picked, because that is her surprise to share.  For me, the best part of the day, besides seeing all the fabulous dresses, was watching her daughter's reaction every time she saw her mother try on a dress.  That was truly priceless...

Noelle - Chinese Shar-pei ~ {Lawrenceville, Georgia Pet Photographer }

I mentioned in the last post that we have a new puppy, so I thought I would share a few photos of her so far.  Tomorrow, she will be 3 months old and she is a cutie...I might be a little biased though.      :)

The Carpenter Family ~ {Smyrna, Georgia Family Photographer}

It's been soooo busy the last several months, that I got a little behind updating the blog.  With the holidays and becoming a new puppy parent, I haven't told you all about the Carpenter family and their holiday photo session.

I have known the Carpenter family for several years now.  In December, they added their own new addition, Bogey, a dog they adopted from their local humane society.  With Christmas coming and a new doggie, what a great time to take family pictures!   Unfortunately, it was the first super cold weekend of the season, so we really didn't get to do many outdoor pictures as I had hoped, but I think we got some really great ones regardless.

Ayaila & Mario ~ {Olde Town Conyers, Georgia Couples Photographer}

After the fun Taylor Family Session in Olde Town Conyers, Ayaila and Mario stuck around for some additional photographs.
Ayaila always has very fun ideas, so it's easy to work with her and Mario.
I brought the suitcase, guitar case and chair and Ayaila & Mario brought the balloons, magazines and some fabulous poses.
That's nothing new though for this super fun couple!

The Taylor Family ~ {Olde Town Conyers, Georgia Family Photographer}

I met the Taylor Family on a Saturday afternoon.   Originally the forecast was for rain, so when we all met up, it was a wonderful surprise to have such awesome weather to take some fun family photographs!

You can definitely tell where this family gets their good looks!  Does Charlotte look awesome in this picture or what?!?    :)

I have known Ayaila for several years and I already knew that she looks fabulous in pictures, but check out the rest of the family!!  They all were channeling their inner super models!!

Updated Photo Albums

Hi Everyone,
As you may have noticed...I took a little break from posting.  I was just a little busy...oh just getting married and being on my honeymoon!
:)
Now, I'm back though and ready to get taking pictures again!  I got a new lens yesterday and I love it!  I can thank my friend Naomi in Sarasota for that.

I updated the photo albums to include everything that I have done in the past few months.
Take a look!

Pink Pineapple Design Studio Grand Opening ~ {Avondale Estates, Georgia Event Photographer}

Back in July, I was lucky enough to be asked to photograph the Grand Opening of the Pink Pineapple Design Studio.
The design studio is located in the Tudor Villages of Avondale Estates and for owner Jamye Barnes, it is not only for meeting with interior design clients, decorating classes and hosting purse parties, but is the realization of a life long dream.

It really is the cutest space you have ever seen!
You can check out Jamye's website here.
